Welcome to Wanstead Park Preschool 

We offer  local, high quality care and education for children and have been doing so from St Gabriel's Church Hall, in Aldersbrook for over 30 years. Uniquely, some of our current parents attended ‘playgroup’ themselves, as it was then known, and we are very proud to be such a long standing part of the Aldersbrook community. 

Our team of child carers are what makes this place so special. Our staff are friendly, dedicated and highly qualified, typically parents themselves. We are very passionate about providing a safe and stimulating environment for the children to grow, explore and socialize. 

The pre-school is a not for profit organisation, managed by a committee of parents, working in partnership with the staff. 

At a glance

·       We provide high quality care and education for young children between the ages of 2 and 5 years. 

·       We are open Monday-Friday 9.00 -15.00pm. We a term time only setting and are closed during school holidays. 

We specialise in and welcome children with Special Educational Needs. 

·       We run breakfast clubs from 8.30am to 9am.

·       We provide a lunch club and collection / drop off service from / to the morning and afternoon sessions at Aldersbrook Primary School. 

·       Fees are £21.50 per session / £43.00 for a full day. 

· Children over 3 are eligible for a 15 hours government funded place. We also accept children on 2 year funding. 

·       Breakfast Club (8:30am-9am): £4 per session.

Lunch Club: £4 per session or £5 per session with collection / drop off service to Aldersbrook morning / afternoon sessions.

Children to be provided with a healthy packed lunch - Please note we are a strictly no nuts setting.

Ofsted registered and our most recent Ofsted rating is Good.
